53 Degrees Ltd recently acquired Progress Lighting as part of its ongoing expansion program. This acquisition allows 53 Degrees to further expand its display solutions and the addition a new lighting division helps cement our turnkey offering to all our new and existing clients.

 

Rod Pallister Operations director says "The future for the lighting market as shifted toward LED over recent years. We have been actively involved and have encouraged this move, with a number of LED lighting projects having now been completed we though the timing was right to underpin our commitment to this form of lighting. More and more enquiries have been coming in form all our clients for this type of lighting solution and the timing just seamed right to make this move. My vision for the lighting division is to become a specialist supplier and integrator of LED lighting. We will be introducing both functional and architectural lighting solution through this new venture and we have some very interesting intelligent lighting systems that can be used for display purposes as well as lighting system. The whole team here is very excited about this new addition into our products portfolio and look forward at been able to specify the new lighting system."
