The national Ary Museum wanted a way to investigate how the English language has changed over the years within the army ranks. The answer was the Army word wall, a 5m x 4m illuminated representation of common words used within the army over the last 100 years. Located in the society gallery, this impactful and colourful exhibit uses our LED Neon + product to highlight works such as ‘Plonker, Over the top and lock stock and barrel’
All the signs were made and installed by the 53 Degree team at short notice, the museum were originally looking to install traditional glass neon. But because of cost and safety concerns they wanted to find an alternative product and Neon + proved to be the answer.
The client was really pleased with the results and we are proud to have played a small part in delivering on such a great project that will educate thousands on visitors over the coming years.
